Ugwuoba Leaders Laud Dr. Chukwujekwu’s Appointment at Oko
The Board of Trustees of Ugwuoba Community Development Union (UDU) paid a courtesy visit to Dr. Ubaka Eugene Chukwujekwu, the Acting Rector of Federal Polytechnic Oko, to celebrate his recent appointment.
The delegation, led by Pastor Dr. Uche Chukwuemeka Ernest, expressed their collective pride in Dr. Chukwujekwu’s achievement, describing his appointment as a testament to his competence and dedication. “This visit is to appreciate God and to show solidarity with our son who has attained this prestigious position,” said Pastor Ernest.
The visiting team included prominent Ugwuoba leaders such as HRH Igwe Ozo Joseph Nwafor Gbuyee, Odenigbo 1 of Okpunoagude; HRH Igwe Sylvanus Ibe, Chinyelugo of Agulu; Prince Clem Onuh Nzeadachi, a former national president of Okpunoagude; and Ozo Chief Josephat Ubaka Ochiriozu 1.
Other distinguished members of the delegation were Chief Uzo Enem, the former national secretary and past chairman of UDU’s Enugu branch; Chief Lawrence Umeadi, the national treasurer; and Comrade Chijioke Emmanuel Nwana, the national deputy secretary. Local government leaders Hon. Eucharia, a former leader of the Oji River Legislative Council, Hon. Engr. Onyekachi Mmaduabuchi, and Hon. Engr. Okechukwu Nnonyelu, a serving councillor, also graced the occasion.
Pastor Ernest underscored the unwavering support of the UDU Board of Trustees and Ugwuoba’s leadership for Dr. Chukwujekwu, pledging prayers and encouragement throughout his tenure.
The delegation’s visit marked a significant endorsement of Dr. Chukwujekwu’s leadership and demonstrated the unity of Ugwuoba in fostering excellence among its members.
