18 Vessels Scheduled to Berth at Lagos Ports, Says NPA
The Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) has announced that 18 ships are expected to berth at Lagos ports between November 4 and 24, with a range of goods to be unloaded, including diesel, cargo, and bulk commodities.
According to the NPA’s “Daily Shipping Position,” the incoming vessels will bring a variety of essential goods to Nigeria’s bustling ports. Of the expected ships, two will arrive with diesel supplies, while another three will carry general cargo. Additionally, two ships each are scheduled to berth with containers and bulk wheat.
“The remaining nine vessels will be laden with bulk gas, bulk fertiliser, diplomatic petrol, bulk salt, bulk sugar, bulk oil, feed corn, and fresh fish,” the NPA reported.
These vessels are set to dock at key terminals in Lagos, including Greenview Development Nigeria Ltd. (GDNL), ENL Consortium Terminals, Apapa Bulk Terminal (ABT), and Eko 1. In addition to these, two other vessels, carrying bulk urea and containers, are expected to arrive at the Lekki Deep Sea Port in Lagos.
