Billionaire Kidnappers Last-Minute Conversation Before Attack at Lagos Market Revealed, in a scene reminiscent of a movie, the last-minute conversation between the leader of a recently neutralized gang of billionaire kidnappers in Lagos, allegedly led by Nollywood actor and producer Prince Henry Ode, has been exposed. Police sources revealed that a gang member had been planted in the popular auto spare parts market on the Oshodi-Apapa expressway to monitor their target.
Detectives from the Lagos State Commissioner of Police Special Squad, led by Kehinde Oni, uncovered vital digital and electronic information about the gang’s preparations. When the squad swooped in, the kidnappers were neutralized in an exchange of fire.
Intelligence revealed a voice-recorded conversation in Igbo between Prince Ode and the gang member posted to the market. The member provided minute-by-minute updates on the target’s movements, ultimately giving the go-ahead for the attack.
The recorded conversation included Prince Ode chastising the member for not being more calculative and careful, emphasizing the urgency and precision required for the operation.
More revelations surfaced about how Prince Ode, unknown to his Nollywood colleagues, cleverly avoided arrest by keeping his victims in another wing of their location and often playing the role of a sharp shooter or lone ranger. Victims reported hearing rehearsals and loud conversations from where they were confined.
Detectives are still working to uncover the full identities and backgrounds of the gang members, with more information expected to be released soon.
