The 11th edition of the Digital Africa Conference and Exhibition kicked off with a resounding call for harnessing the transformative potential of Artificial Intelligence (AI) to drive economic growth and innovation across the African continent. Without robust infrastructure, AI’s potential remains untapped. Additionally, the continent must prioritize digital skills development to create a skilled workforce capable of developing and maintaining AI systems.

Ethical Considerations, ethical considerations must underpin AI deployment. Transparency, accountability, fairness, and privacy protection are essential. AI should promote inclusivity and respect human rights while avoiding biases.
