Baba Ijesha Guilty, Sentenced To 16 years Imprisonment
Nollywood actor, Baba Ijesha – Olanrewaju James has been found guilty by an Ikeja Special Offences Court, Daily Global Newspaper reports.
In a two-hour ruling on Thursday, Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo found Baba Ijesha guilty of sexual assault and attempted sexual assault on a minor who was 14 at the time of the incident.
He was however cleared of counts one and six, which were sexual assault by penetration and attempted sexual assault by penetration, by Justice Taiwo Taiwo.
At the time of filing this report, the case has been stood down for a few minutes for sentencing of the convict and upon return, the Judge sentenced him to 16 years imprisonment.
Daily Global Newspaper reported that tension was high this morning as the embattled actor awaits his fate being determined by the court.
