Police investigate Mr. Lanre Okunade A Lawyer Over The Death Of An Artisan

The where about of an Artisan is unknown to the family after it was alleged he fell down from three storey building in Logos. The Police has continued probe Lawyer over incident.

Police authorities in Lagos have been urged to do deep investigation to unravel the circumstances surrounding the whereabout of an Artisan who was contacted by a Lawyer Mr Lanre Okunade to effect repairs in part of building situated at No 40 Diya street I fall Gbagada Lagos.

In an exclusive interview with our Correspondent one of the Landlord of the building, Mrs Mojisola Adebayo nee Osinuga accused the Lawyer Mr Lanre Okunade as responsible for the whereabout of the Artisan.

as only the Lawyer is the only one in the building who refused to quit despite notice to quit over years back.

According to her, only theLawyer contacted the Artisan to work on top of the building unfortunately his legs slipped off and fell down thereby sustaining serious degrees of injuries and the Lawyer took him to two different hospitals where he was rejected.

She noted that neighbours are worried over the present state of the Artisan.
The Landlord who is also the first Child of the Father and owner of the building told our Correspondent that the Property was built since 1984 and is now old hence need urgent repairs also based on advice from Material Testing Agency and Environmental Agency Lagos State.
She noted that based on this all Tenants where served notice to quit many years back but only the Lawyer refused to quit the building using all legal means to frustrate the Landlords.

“Since 2008 when the lawyer parked into his flat he has been using all power in oppressing and harassing us especially our aged mother who passed on to the glory of the Lord on October 2021

“Even most of material in the building is bad, water tank up cannot hold water anymore,it leaks seriously and all the water pipes connected to all apartments are rusty and busted. Some apartments and shops are now been flooded and leaking with water. He still continues to be pumping water in the house,she added.

The landlord who suspected fowl play over the life of the Artisan have lodged the complaint at the Ifako Police Station Gbagada to probe the only tenant in the building Mr Lanre Okunade over the sudden disappearance of the Artisan.
