Air peace survive Bird Attack
An aircraft belonging to Air peace airline on Monday suffered a bird strike few minutes after take off.
The management of the airline in a release disclosed that the Air Peace flight Owerri to Lagos few minutes after take off had a bird strike.
The airline further disclosed that this seriously affected the parameters of one of the engines and the Pilot in command had to divert to Port Harcourt and safely landed the aircraft while the passengers disembarked normally.
The airline said it had dispatched a rescue team and aircraft to airlift the passengers of the affected flight.
