Two Bullion Vans, Filled With Money Impounded By Area Commander
Area Commander Ajah, Lagos impounded two bullion Vans Filled with money- The Area commander Ajah, Lagos ACP Gbolahan Olugbemi was said to have ordered two bullion vans belonging to Bankers ware house.
In Lagos to be impounded for violating approved standard species escort procedure which includes an escort vehicle in front and at back with minimum of four mobile police men in each vehicle with bullion Van at the middle, as of the time of arrest, the bullion vans were without single escort vehicle which has been their usual practice.
The arrest was sequel to Commissioner of Police meeting with d management of Banks and their subsidiaries on Tuesday 1st of December 2020, towards the end of the meeting ACP Gbolahan Olugbemi was said to have vowed to arrest any violator, true to his vow, he ordered the two bullion vans found somewhere in Ajah and Lekki for breach of security, for quite sometimes banks and their subsidiaries had jettisoned the the standard approved species escort procedure which had in number of times cause security breach, it’s expected that this recent action will put an end to breach of procedure.
