ON THE SPOT ASSESSMENT VISIT BY THE IGP’S HIGH-POWERED COMMITTEE FOR THE ASSESSMENT OF LOSSES SUFFERED BY THE NIGERIA POLICE FORCE DURING #ENDSARS PROTESTS

 

The #ENDSARS assessment Committee set-up by the Inspector-General of Police, IGP Mohammed Abubakar Adamu NPM,mni, to assess the level of damage and losses done to police infrastructure and personnel on the recent #ENDSARS protests arrived Anambra State on Saturday 21/11/2020.

The Committee’s head of delegation to Anambra State, Deputy Commissioner of Police DCP Patrick Atayero and his team visited all Police formations burnt or vandalised by suspected hoodlums during the unfortunate incidents and also commiserate on behalf of the Inspector-general of police with families of police officers who paid the supreme price as well as the injured personnel.

Consequently,the Committee equally documented all the losses incurred by police and it’s personnel during the crisis for onward transmission to the IGP.

The Committee is expected to round up its assignment in Anambra State on the 23/11/2020.

Meanwhile,the Commissioner of Police, CP John B.Abang,fdc, thanked the Inspector-general of Police for sending a high- powered Committee to commiserate with the Command and assess levels of damaged incurred during the protest.
