WE CAN’T TRUST ACCESS BANK, MASS CLOSURE OF ACCESS BANK ACCOUNTS BEGINS TODAY – ACTIVITIES, #ENDSARS
The trust that Nigerian youths had on Access Bank Plc has been badly affected by the recent actions done by the bank against the youths in the #EndSARS campaign by frozen accounts of some youths who participated in the protest.
Many activists who are very grieved at the weekend has mobilised for mass closure of Access Bank accounts own by the youths and massive boycotting of Access Bank products and services by the youths and other well meaning Nigerians.
The activists has said that the punitive action would start from today, Monday, November 16, 2020, and is in retaliation for the bank’s closure of the accounts of some chieftains of the recent #EndSARS protests.
Up till now the youths has not relevant in showing their grievances against bad governance and the system which things are done by the leadership of Nigeria and Access Bank Plc got involved by frozen accounts of youths, which has made them loose the vital elements of their operations which is trust before the very group of people (young Nigerians) who bank with them.
